CONFIRMATION OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION (CRA)

If not requested on the license application cover sheet, a “CRA will not be issued.”

1. The fee for issuing a CRA  is $100, if a hard copy of the application is received at our offices.

2. The fee for issuing a CRA  is $200, if the request is submitted by e-mail or online and TZIRS has not received the application (copies of the seamen’s supportive documentation must be included with the e-mail request or uploaded online). The name of the person and title within the company making the email request must be included in the email.

Note: If TZIRS has not received the original application by the time the CRA has expired, the CRA fee will increase to $300.

3. The rush processing fee of Tanzania documents is $150 for the first two (2) seamen, and $50 for any additional seamen applications.

A “CRA” will be issued and sent within 4 business days from the time a request is received. A digital copy will be available for download on the Seafarer Dashboard.
